Alpharetta, GA Industry:
Residential / Multifamily Construction We are seeking an experienced Purchasing & Estimating Manager to join a growing multi-residential builder focused on apartments, townhomes, and build-to-rent communities. This role will lead purchasing operations, manage project budgets, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing and estimating for multiple residential communities Develop and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships Solicit bids, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor contracts Establish and maintain project budgets and cost estimates Monitor costs and perform ongoing budget analysis Oversee purchasing systems and ensure accurate cost tracking Support new community setup including pricing, budgets, and vendor assignments Supervise purchasing staff and coordinate with construction and accounting teams Qualifications 7+ years of experience in residential construction purchasing and estimating Experience with multifamily, build-to-rent, or production homebuilding projects Strong background in vendor management, budgeting, and cost control Experience with systems such as BuildPro, JD Edwards, BRIX, HomeFront, or similar Advanced Excel and data management skills Strong organizational and communication abilities
