In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and adhering to quality standards. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and blueprint reading will drive project success while maintaining safety and compliance. Position requires travel throughout the SouthEast United States during phases of projects. Knowledge in welding is a big plus. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards Develop detailed project schedules using project management tools to monitor progress and adjust timelines proactively Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless communication and project flow Manage construction estimating processes and prepare budgets using HeavyBid or comparable software to control costs effectively Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction documents such as Civil 3D files to ensure clarity and accuracy before work begins Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, progress milestones, and adherence to project schedules Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), safety reports, and daily logs Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with project schedules while maintaining cost efficiency Requirements Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and heavy civil projects Proficiency with Primavera P6 or Primavera P3 for project scheduling; experience with Schematics is a plus Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; ability to develop accurate cost projections Skilled in using construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and other relevant platforms Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and project coordination processes Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively on fast-paced sites Demonstrated ability to lead teams efficiently while maintaining safety standards and quality control measures Valid experience working on large-scale construction projects with a focus on infrastructure or commercial developments Effective communication skills for coordinating among diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies Join our team as a Construction Manager where your leadership fuels innovative projects that shape communities!
