This is a full‑time, in‑person position that requires regular travel to multiple residential job sites within the surrounding region. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential rehabilitation and new construction projects in a scattered‑site environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail‑oriented professional with strong problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and customer service. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects across geographically dispersed locations. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage residential rehabilitation and new construction projects from pre‑construction through completion Travel regularly to job sites to monitor progress, conduct inspections, and coordinate field activities Develop, maintain, and enforce aggressive project schedules to ensure on‑time project delivery Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare regular progress and status reports Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers Promote job site safety by enforcing safety standards, encouraging safe work practices, and correcting hazards immediately Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans, local building codes, and company standards Read, interpret, and implement architectural and engineered construction plans and specifications Develop, manage, and close out punch lists Work directly with homeowners and stakeholders to address concerns and maintain positive working relationships Assist with permit applications, inspections, and regulatory compliance with local jurisdictions within Georgia Support the Program Manager with additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction, rehabilitation, and/or new home construction Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Augusta, GA area Ability and willingness to travel frequently to job sites as required Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and engineered plans Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn firm‑specific construction management software Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project demands Preferred Qualifications College coursework or degree in Construction Management or a related field Experience managing projects in a scattered‑site or multi‑location environment Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and Georgia AHJs Compensation & Benefits DSW Homes, LLC offers a competitive compensation package, including: Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Employer‑paid health insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Equal Employment Opportunity All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without unlawful discrimination based on race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation.
