Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Site Superintendent to lead and oversee excavation and utility construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves managing daily site operations, coordinating teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work, reviewing blueprints and schematics, and ensuring compliance with specifications Manage site safety programs in accordance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions Monitor project budgets, track costs, and manage procurement. Review contracts, change orders, and scope of work documents to ensure clarity and compliance throughout the project lifecycle Requirements 5+ years verifiable superintendent experience in full civil site work. (Clearing, grading, excavation, storm, water and sewer utility install) Safety training: Competent person, Trenching and Excavation and Confined Space certified. Valid GSWCC certification. Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in supervising diverse teams on large-scale projects Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other industry-standard tools Solid understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and project scheduling Knowledge of contracts administration, quality control procedures, and OSHA safety standards Hands-on experience with construction site equipment testing tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with pipeline projects is a plus Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise multiple teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality Strong communication skills for coordinating among stakeholders and ensuring project alignment from start to finish Join us as a Civil Site Superintendent to lead impactful projects that shape communities while advancing your career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
