Job Description
RQ Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our Field Operations team for projects at Kings Bay Naval Base, Georgia and the surrounding areas (active military installation). Candidates based near these locations are preferred; however, relocation may be considered, as this is an on-site leadership role. Superintendents are responsible for overseeing all daily construction activities on assigned projects. This includes managing field personnel and subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents such as plans, specifications, and proposals. The role requires maintaining quality standards while meeting project timelines and budget goals, all in alignment with RQ's core Mission, Vision, and Values.
Compensation:
$110,000 - $150,000 annuallyBenefits:

High school diploma or GED required Additional coursework or a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent managing mid-sized construction projects, including responsibilities such as scheduling, procurement, field oversight, quality control, safety, and production across all phases with 4 or more years of hands-on construction or trade experience required Experience with government, military, or large commercial projects is preferred, especially within design-build environments or large-scale builds Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer use is required Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit is preferred CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training available if needed) Bilingual Spanish/English skills are a plus LEED Green Associate (GA) or Accredited Professional (AP) credentials are desirableAbout RQ Construction:
