Job Description
Project Executive - Tenant Interior Construction A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead and oversee tenant interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This leadership role is ideal for a construction professional with extensive tenant improvement experience, strong operational leadership skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. The Project Executive will play a key role in driving project success, mentoring project teams, and supporting continued company growth in the commercial interiors market. Responsibilities Oversee multiple tenant interior and renovation projects simultaneously Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams Manage client relationships and serve as the primary executive contact throughout project lifecycles Lead preconstruction efforts, budgeting, scheduling, and operational planning Monitor project financials, staffing, risk management, and overall performance Collaborate with estimating and business development teams on pursuits and client retention Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards Support team development, accountability, and company culture initiatives Qualifications 15+ years of experience in commercial construction with a strong focus on tenant improvement/interiors projects Proven experience leading multiple projects and managing construction teams Strong understanding of commercial interiors, fast-track schedules, and occupied-space renovations Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills Ability to drive operational excellence and maintain strong project financial performance Experience with healthcare, corporate office, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use TI projects is a plus Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred What's Offered Competitive compensation package Leadership opportunity with a respected and growing general contractor Strong pipeline of repeat-client tenant interior projects Collaborative and team-oriented culture Comprehensive benefits package and long-term growth potential This is an excellent opportunity for a senior construction leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing organization specializing in high-quality tenant interior construction projects.
