Superintendent - Commercial Construction (Site Development / Earthwork) Suwanee, GA | Local Projects (No Overnight Travel) Our client is a fast-growing, self-performing commercial general contractor specializing in site development, earthwork, and ground-up construction. Backed by experienced industry investors, they are building a team of hands-on leaders who want to take ownership and help shape how a company operates as it scales. Position Overview The Superintendent is the on-site leader responsible for daily field operations from start to finish. This role is highly hands-on and offers the opportunity to run job sites, lead crews, and contribute to building field processes within a growing organization. Projects include commercial site development and mixed-use builds, including retail, fuel stations, and other ground-up construction. Key Responsibilities Lead all on-site construction activities, including crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment Read and interpret civil/site plans, grading plans, and utility drawings Coordinate inspections and ensure all work is completed to code and is inspection-ready Run daily jobsite meetings to align crews on production and safety Maintain accurate daily reports including manpower, production, and jobsite conditions Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards Identify and resolve field issues related to grading, utilities, and site conditions Support development of field processes, documentation, and safety procedures Qualifications 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, site development, or heavy civil Experience with earthwork, grading, utilities, or ground-up construction Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and site plans Proven ability to lead crews and manage jobsite activity OSHA-30 preferred Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $70,000 - $95,000 (flexible based on experience) Performance bonus: 10% - 25% Company truck provided (optional) Local projects within ~50 miles (no overnight travel)
