The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction (preferably concrete) and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work with various materials and equipment. The Assistant will be assisting in all aspects of the company, specifically working with the Superintendent. The Assistant is responsible for preparing and setting up daily materials, understanding the schedule and assisting in anything that the Superintendent may need. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow directions while working efficiently and independently. Responsibilities Assist the Superintendent with all aspects of the projects. Prepare and set up materials for construction projects. Ability to load and unload trailers, also experienced and driving a truck and trailer. Build and frame carpentry projects according to specifications and instruction Form and finish concrete by following detailed directions independently or with a crew. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. Experience Proven experience in construction. Experience in concrete forming and finishing a plus. Must have valid drivers license and trailer towing experience.
