This position is responsible for directing foremen and field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in site development, utilities, grading, excavation, roadwork, and underground infrastructure. This role requires excellent communication, scheduling, and coordination skills with crews, subcontractors, inspectors, and project management staff. Responsibilities Supervise and direct foremen and field personnel on multiple job sites Maintain project schedules and ensure production goals are achieved Coordinate inspections with city, county, utility, and agency inspectors Ensure all work meets company and project quality control standards Monitor jobsite safety and enforce company safety policies Coordinate equipment, materials, trucking, and subcontractors Review plans, specifications, and project documents with field crews Identify and resolve field issues proactively Track daily production and communicate progress with project managers Conduct site walks and inspections to verify workmanship and compliance Assist with scheduling manpower and equipment needs Maintain professional relationships with clients, inspectors, and vendors Qualifications 5+ years of experience in civil construction supervision Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, underground utilities, paving, and site development Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications Experience coordinating with inspectors and municipalities Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and jobsite safety practices Valid driver's license required Preferred Qualifications Experience with GPS machine control and civil layout CDL preferred but not required OSHA Training Preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan opportunities Bonus opportunities Stable year-round work
