Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced GPS Foreman specializing in Civil Construction to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. Pay:
$32.00 - $40.00 /hr Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance on-site Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to verify project specifications and ensure accurate execution Oversee quality control processes, including inspections, testing, and adherence to safety protocols such as OSHA regulations Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare progress reports while ensuring projects stay within financial parameters Coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients to resolve technical issues promptly and effectively Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid , and Ohmmeter for project documentation, measurement accuracy, and troubleshooting Enter Daily Activities into HCSS Heavy Job Ensure compliance with contracts, permits, and local regulations throughout all phases of construction Conduct site safety meetings regularly to reinforce safety practices and minimize risks during construction activities Calibrating Jobs Setting up GPS machines & equipment Ability to read Blue print Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil construction management with supervising experience on large-scale projects Strong knowledge of construction site operations, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating Familiarity with Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, HeavyBid, and other construction management software tools Hands-on experience with project scheduling, budgeting, quality control procedures, and contract administration Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for complex pipeline or infrastructure projects Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment Skilled in using measurement tools such as the ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting when necessary Excellent management skills with a track record of supervising diverse teams effectively in fast-paced environments Strong communication skills for coordinating with stakeholders at all levels within the project lifecycle Experience in digging and laying pipe in heavy civil, commercial, residential, and multifamily projects. Understand grades, elevations, and compaction requirements. Able to read and understand plans and specifications and decide the best way to implement them. Ability to understand cut sheets, cut/fill numbers, elevations, and slopes. Ability to proactively and safely mitigate potential problems on the job site. Leadership, communication, organizational skills are a must. Self-motivated and accountable are also necessary. Strong working knowledge regarding the operation, safety and maintenance of equipment in use. Ability to safely operate equipment in the presence of field crew and utilities ensuring the safety of all people, equipment, property and utilities in the area Valid driver's license and clean MVR MSHA
