Job Description

Overseeing a crew of workers on a construction project, assigning tasks, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, managing schedules, training new employees, monitoring project progress, reporting to superiors to ensure timely completion of the project within budget and specifications, assisting in project planning and communicating proper hand off to project management and Post Construction teams.

Responsibilities:
Coach, Mentor & Crucial Convo representative for Array & Electrical Leads. Ensure daily submissions of JHA & DOCs. Ensure Near Misses & Injury Reporting occurs after incidents Manage job resource allocation. Manage onsite rentals timeline to project budget. Manage reservation, delivery and operation of rental equipment. Track V6 daily and total job hours array & electrical Assist Commercial TOSs. Assist Project Management and Design with project prep . Material Staging Plan Array Structural Plan Conduct a pre-site walk ahead of installation. Onsite Safety "Competent Person" OSHA Contact (RAZ, PPE, Hotwork, 6'+ tie offs, Etc…) Foreman has dismissal authority for non compliant workers. Foreman has stop work authority across construction tasks. Onsite presence required to manage shutdown, major logistics & crane days. Onsite supervisor of Sub Contractor work. Report construction status & needs to Project Management and Scheduling Manager. (Manpower Needs to keep to construction timeline) Stays ahead of the work to identify bottlenecks prior to causing construction delays. BOS and material confirmation as soon as it arrives. POC for jobsite issues. Primary Inspector representative Construction Quality Control Ensure testing and documentation of voltage, amperage and meggering is performed. Ensure torquing and marking of Electrical terminations and structural components. Document and Communicate As-Built Drawings to Project Management and Design. Delegation and completion of checklists (Ultimate Accountability Holder) Upload all written checklists to related project's checklist record in PDF format. (3rd party checklists) Ensure proper handoff/communication of closeout phase to project management and Post Construction team. Delegate job site authority to Crew Lead when temporarily off site. Long absences are coordinated through Ops Manager. Personnel Updates (Feedback to Ops Manager on chemistry of the field workers)
