Construction Site Supervisor

Overview Blue Collar LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on active construction sites. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring projects stay on schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes initiative, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. This position requires someone who is organized, accountable, and capable of keeping projects running efficiently while maintaining strong relationships with both crews and clients. Responsibilities Supervise and support onsite crews to ensure productivity, safety, and quality workmanship Coordinate daily site operations , including job assignments, scheduling, and workforce management Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and interior design documents Monitor job site safety and enforce company safety policies and procedures Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site communication with project managers, subcontractors, and clients Track daily progress and maintain job site documentation including reports, safety logs, and time tracking Identify and resolve issues quickly to prevent project delays Coordinate deliveries, materials, and subcontractor schedules Support onboarding and training of new crew members as needed Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and ensure successful project delivery Qualifications Previous experience in construction site supervision, crew leadership, or field management Ability to read and understand construction plans and design documents Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Comfortable using mobile apps, tablets, and construction management tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently Reliable transportation and theability to travel to job sites throughout the Chicagoland area Experience in construction, trades, or related industries preferred What We're Looking For Coachable and willing to learn Strong work ethic and accountability Someone who leads by example and supports their team Ability to stay calm and solutions-focused in a fast-moving environment About Blue Collar LLC Blue Collar LLC is a construction company focused on delivering high-quality work while building a strong team of skilled professionals.
