Job Description

The Senior Business Development Leader drives revenue growth expands our builders' client base and strengthens strategic relationships within the commercial construction market. This role oversees the full business development lifecycle From market positioning and lead generation through contract execution while aligning opportunities with our operational capabilities and long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate brings proven commercial construction experience and a strong sales and relationship management background, with the ability to identify opportunities, influence decision-makers, and convert prospects into profitable projects. This role partners closely with Preconstruction, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure a seamless transition from opportunity to execution. What You'll Own Drive new business across commercial construction markets (retail, multi-site, program work) Build and expand relationships with developers, owners, and key decision-makers Lead the full sales lifecycle from first conversation through contract execution Partner with Preconstruction & Operations to deliver winning proposals Grow strategic accounts and convert relationships into repeat business Represent us at industry events Own your pipeline -forecasting, tracking, and closing deals What Success Looks Like You consistently generate and convert qualified opportunities You build long-term client relationships You help the company expand into new markets and programs You contribute to a predictable, scalable pipeline of work What You Bring 5-10+ years in commercial construction (GC, developer, or program management side) Proven track record in business development, sales, or client acquisition Existing relationships within commercial construction markets Strong understanding of construction processes, pricing, and delivery Ability to influence decision-makers and close deals High ownership mindset-self-driven, competitive, and results-oriented Compensation Competitive base salary Performance-driven bonus / commission structure
