We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Builder / Construction Manager to oversee and deliver high‑quality construction and installation projects for trade stands (exhibition booths) and branded showrooms across the United States. This role is hands-on, leadership‑focused, and travel‑intensive, ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys problem‑solving on site, and can confidently lead build teams to deliver premium results that reflect the Corston Architectural Detail brand. You will act as the primary on‑site leader, ensuring that each installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest craftsmanship standards. #INDUS Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & On‑Site Management Lead a team of builders and installation specialists during trade show and showroom construction projects across various U.S. states. Oversee day‑to‑day on‑site operations, ensuring all work meets specifications, brand standards, and project timelines. Act as the main point of contact for on‑site stakeholders, including event coordinators, venue representatives, and internal project managers. Conduct on‑site problem-solving, adapting plans quickly to suit real-time challenges. Construction & Installation Participate hands‑on in building, installing, and dismantling trade stands and showroom displays. Interpret technical drawings, build plans, and elevation diagrams accurately. Ensure all materials are handled, installed, and finished to a premium standard. Team Management & Coordination Assign and manage daily tasks for team members. Provide coaching, skills development, and performance oversight to build teams. Coordinate schedules, travel plans, and accommodation with the support of the operations team. Quality & Safety Compliance Enforce on‑site health and safety procedures, ensuring safe working conditions for all team members. Conduct quality checks at every stage of the build. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress updates, incident reports, and sign‑offs. Logistics & Travel Coordination Manage tools, materials, and equipment, including transportation to and from job sites. Oversee the packing and safe handling of modular display components. Facilitate efficient setup and breakdown processes to meet strict event schedules. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential Proven experience as a Lead Builder, Construction Supervisor, Crew Leader, Exhibit Builder, or similar hands‑on leadership role. Strong carpentry, joinery, or fabrication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Experience in exhibitions, trade shows, shopfitting, showroom builds, or similar environments. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing site conditions. High level of professionalism and client-facing confidence. Willingness and ability to travel extensively (multi‑state, multiple trips per month). Desirable Experience working to premium brand standards. Valid driver's licence. Certification in OSHA/safety training. Forklift, MEWP, or other equipment certifications. Working Conditions Extensive travel across the USA, often requiring overnight stays of varying lengths. Long working days typical around trade show setup/dismantle periods. Physical work involving lifting, carrying, climbing, and use of power tools.
