UNION CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT / FOREMAN
Candidate will: Perform work on the Quad Cities Water and Waste Water Treatment Plant jobs and/or Transportation jobs Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications Overall management of daily operation of the projects Ensure safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed Create and manage project schedule Monitor budgets and controlling cost Communicate project progress with clients and project managers Coordinate subcontractors and construction site organization qualifications Order material and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process Effectively recruit and train new employees Prepare daily reports and timecards
Skills/Qualifications:
prior experience as a Superintendent or Foreman (5 years preferred) wastewater treatment plant and transportation experience a plus good communication, organizational and leadership skills excellent knowledge of project drawings and specifications familiarity with regulatory construction standards the ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to effectively complete projects on time and within budget •Candidates living in or around the Quad Cities region are strongly preferred.
