Job Description SummaryResponsible for ensuring quality and compliance of activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work. This includes maintaining and verifying implementation of the site quality plan to ensure that contractual, legal, and internal requirements are met. Schedules and Conduct site audits based on contractual requirements and customer needs. Works with site contractors to ensure job tasks are understood and performed according to local and city / state requirements. Works with Site Manager to ensure work is completed as scheduled with appropriate checks and documentation supported. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of working project team. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The Site Quality lead coordinates and reports on site quality activities and on the related quality interfaces, maintaining communications and alignment with client, project team, subcontractors, quality engineer, and site manager on quality-related issues and scope of work. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Serve as the primary site quality interface with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
Verify incoming materials and equipment meet approved submittals and project specifications, including proper handling and storage.
Ensure quality records, inspection reports, turnover documentation, and closeout packages are complete and compliant.
Support lessons learned, continuous improvement, and site quality awareness through communication and training.
Partner with site leadership to stop work when safety or quality issues impact compliance or project execution.
Required QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline; Electrical Engineering preferred. Equivalent field leadership experience will also be considered.5+ years of experience in site quality, site management, commissioning, construction, or project execution in utility, substation, HV, EPC, or industrial environments.
Experience developing and implementing Site Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans for high-voltage or turnkey projects.
Strong background in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Management Systems.
Experience leading quality activities in the field and working directly with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Working knowledge of electrical construction, commissioning, substation installation, or related infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of safety, EHS, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements on customer sites.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, document control systems, NCR management tools, SAP, or similar systems.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to travel up to 90% across North America.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in EPC project quality leadership.
Background supporting substation upgrades, expansions, or new-build projects.
Internal or second-party audit experience;
ISO 9001
audit knowledge preferred.
Relevant field credentials such as OSHA 30, Journeyman, Master Electrician, or similar certifications.
PMP certification or strong site/project management experience is a plus.

The base pay range for this position is $90,200.00 - 150,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
