Residential Remodeling Who We Are:
EcoBuild Plus is a fast-moving, high-volume home services and remodeling company. We don't do corporate bureaucracy; we value accountability, clear standards, and people who turn problems into actions. We have a massive pipeline of high-end remodeling work, and we need an aggressive, highly organized Superintendent to execute these projects profitably. The Reality of the
Role:
You are the field general. The Sales team sells the dream; you are responsible for actually building it. You own the job site from the day demolition starts to the final punch-list sign-off. If a project runs over schedule, fails an inspection, or a homeowner complains about a messy site, that is on you.
What You Will Actually Do:
Own the
Schedule:
Coordinate and drive subcontractors and internal crews to ensure the project timeline is aggressively maintained.
Site Hygiene & Safety:
Ensure the homeowner's property is protected. The site must be broom-swept and locked down every single day.
Quality Control:
You don't wait for the final walkthrough to spot bad drywall or crooked tile. You catch errors immediately and force the subs to fix them before they get paid.
Daily Documentation:
Complete daily logs, take progress photos, and update our CRM/ClickUp dashboards so the office and the homeowner know exactly what happened today and what is happening tomorrow.
Pass Inspections:
Schedule and walk municipal inspectors through the site. Ensure all structural, plumbing, and electrical work meets local code. Handle the "Surprises": When you open a floor and find a cracked joist, you immediately document it, notify the Project Manager, and formulate a solution to keep the job moving. What You Need to Succeed (Hard Skills): 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and renovations (kitchens, baths, additions, full guts). Deep understanding of residential building codes, structural framing, MEPs (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and high-end finish work.
Tech-savvy:
You must be able to use construction management software (ClickUp, BuilderTrend, etc.) on your iPad/phone without needing someone to hold your hand. Valid driver's license, reliable truck/transportation, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Who You Need to Be (Character & DNA):
Extreme Ownership:
You never say, "That's not my job." If a problem happens on your site, it is your problem. Low-Drama /
High-Candor:
You can have difficult conversations with a delayed subcontractor or a frustrated homeowner calmly and professionally.
Anticipatory Thinker:
You don't wait for materials to run out before ordering more. You are always looking two weeks ahead on the schedule. How to
Apply:
Submit your resume. To prove you read this entire post and have true remodeling experience, you MUST include your hourly/salary expectation AND answer this one question in your cover letter or message: Tell us about a time you opened a wall or floor on a remodeling job, found a massive surprise, and exactly how you fixed it without blowing the schedule. (Applications that do not include salary expectations or answer the question will be automatically rejected).
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
From $35.00 per hour
Work Location:
In person
