Job Description

The EMS Scheduling Manager develops and implements all aspects of daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for field personnel within the organization.
T HE EMS SCHEDULING MANAGER WILL
W ork with the Operations Manager in coordinating staffing needs. Coordinate daily schedules and assignments and briefs Supervisors of schedule changes Create deployment plans based on anticipated needs Other scheduling duties as needed including scheduling the ride-along program for new employees and students.

MedEx was the first ambulance service in the country to use telemedicine as an ambulance provider With a fleet of over 80 vehicles, MedEx utilizes ALS, BLS, & Critical Care/RN ambulances, Paramedic Chase Cars, Supervisor Response Vehicles, and service cars. MedEx services hundreds of outstanding healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area, including Lurie Children's Hospital, University of Chicago Medicine, UI Health, and Swedish Hospital, part of NorthShore, to name a few.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EMS background (required) One year of medical-related clerical experience (preferred) Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology (preferred) Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with individuals using multiple platforms Knowledge of computerized scheduling system or ability to participate in training Must be able to perform all essential job functions.
