A successful team member within this role will be proficient in commercial/industrial construction means and methods. They will have experience in coordinating medium to large-scale projects across multiple trades. Ultimately, you will be part of the team helping develop northeast Indiana and work on projects from the conceptual phases through to completion. As a key member of our team, you will work alongside the most respected licensed professionals in northeast Indiana.

Your Mission:

Deliver projects on schedule Manage all subcontractors and vendors on the job Assist the project manager with overall project management and managing project costs Serve as a key point of contact between project owners and Team JICI Prepare daily reports and manage/update the project schedule Serve as a working superintendent Who you are: You work well in a team environment but can also thrive individually. You enjoy developing relationships with subcontractors/vendors. You are a detailed individual who understands prints and how to interpret construction documents. You have experience in the construction industry and enjoy collaborating with clients. You are a multitasker with the ability to jump into a wide range of projects varying from large to medium scale commercial and industrial projects. You have a strong work ethic and willingness to work as a team to efficiently complete jobs on budget and on time.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction is preferred 2+ years of experience in commercial/industrial construction is required Fluent in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel. Fluent in Bluebeam and Autodesk Construction Cloud is a positive Must be detail-oriented, able to recognize discrepancies and can meet critical deadlines Must have effective communication skills and the ability to effectively present information both verbally and in writing to vendors, subcontractors, clients, and fellow employees You must be organized, and have critical thinking skills that allow you to solve problems Ability to operate equipment such as telehandlers, lifts, etc. is required If you believe you possess the skills and knowledge to thrive within a team environment, while also being a motivated self-starter, you are highly encouraged to apply for this position.
