Construction Superintendent

Commercial Construction Superintendent - Bloomington, IN Our client, a growing Bloomington-based construction company, is seeking experienced commercial Construction Superintendent to join their team. This position will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on commercial field superintendent experience, including site development. Experience with Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents (architectural, structural, mechanical, specifications, etc.). Working knowledge of spreadsheets and electronic scheduling software. Experience managing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, staff, and subcontractors. Set up and maintain an organized, clean job site and construction office/trailer. Direct field personnel to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Prepare and maintain construction schedules; identify and resolve issues that may affect schedule or costs. Order materials, manage lead times, and schedule inspections as needed. Ensure compliance with OSHA Safety and Loss Control Program, promote safe work practices, and immediately address hazards. Conduct weekly Tool Box Talks. Maintain weekly schedule meetings with vendors and subcontractors to project the upcoming three weeks' work expectations.

$115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Education:

Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

Commercial construction: 7 years (Required)

Commercial Superintendent:

5 years (Required) Superintendent on commercial projects in excess of $10
