Company Overview Aging & In-Home Services of Northeast Indiana, Inc. (AIHS) is the federally and state-designated Area III Agency on Aging. The organization serves as the primary resource for older adults, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers across nine counties, providing essential services and support to enhance quality of life. Summary/Objective Performs all activities related to nutrition site service to achieve program goals, according to contract requirements and standards. Maintains site in accordance with contract requirements. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to menu and safe food handling requirements Maintain meal site in compliance with local, state, and federal sanitation standards, including the Department of Health and Human Services and AIHS policies Maintain accurate inventory of food and supplies Process new client applications according to federal eligibility requirements and provide to department in a timely manner Encourage meal donations in accordance with contract requirements; ensure safety of monies collected, and send to department Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three or more months experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience Customer service training in foodservice, or related industry. AIHS is
