Fort Wayne, IN TYPE Direct Hire SALARY $80,000 - $100,000 / yr ID IN09-2754659 POSTED May 4, 2026 Currently looking for a Project Manager - Commercial Construction to fill a position due to business growth in the Fort Wayne, IN area for our Design-Build Construction Firm client. Interested candidates should have at least five years of commercial/industrial experience. This role involves managing projects from concept to completion, balancing office and field responsibilities to ensure quality results and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and excels in collaboration and clear communication. A self-directed, goal-oriented mindset, integrity, and accountability are essential for success. Responsibilities of the
Project Manager:
Serve as the main client contact, providing updates and resolving project issues. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain project momentum and foster accountability. Build and manage detailed project schedules, tracking progress and communicating updates to all stakeholders. Develop Schedule of Values for billing, monitor budgets, review financial documents, and report financial risks to the Senior PM. Enforce daily safety procedures, lead safety meetings and inspections, and document site activities. Conduct OAC meetings, maintain accurate records, and ensure work meets all quality standards, codes, and requirements. Manage subcontracts from award through completion, tracking performance and resolving disputes with Senior PM support. Support team development through delegation, training, feedback, and conflict resolution. Champion company's vision, mission, and core values while driving and communicating organizational change. Requirements of the
Project Manager:
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management/Engineering 5+yrs experience working for a Commercial Design-Build Contractor Experience with Experience with Adobe, Bluebeam, Procore & Timberline Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods) Ability to implement and follow Company policies, procedures and standards is essential Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills required Willingness to work 10 hour days
