This position serves as the primary coordinator for utility installations, municipal interactions, construction documentation, and office administration. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with homeowners, utility providers, subcontractors, and municipalities, and ensure projects move efficiently from contract to completion. Primary Responsibilities Utility Coordination  Coordinate utility installations for all residential construction projects, including: o Electric o Natural gas o Water o Sewer o Telecommunications and internet services  Submit applications and service requests to utility providers.  Track utility timelines and proactively communicate delays.  Schedule utility inspections and service connections.  Maintain utility status reports for all active projects.  Work directly with utility companies, municipalities, and developers to resolve issues. Permitting & Municipal Coordination  Assist with permit applications and document submission.  Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.  Track permit approvals and inspection results.  Maintain compliance records and project documentation.  Monitor project milestones requiring municipal approvals. Construction Administration  Maintain project files and construction records.  Assist project supervisors with scheduling and trade communication.  Update construction management software and project tracking systems.  Process homeowner selections and construction documents.  Prepare and distribute project reports and schedules.  Support warranty and service request documentation. Office Management  Manage day-to-day office operations.  Answer phones and greet visitors.  Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor services.  Maintain filing systems and company records.  Assist with meeting scheduling and preparation.  Support accounting with invoice collection and document organization.  Coordinate company events and office functions as needed. Customer Service  Serve as a point of contact for homeowners during the construction process.  Provide updates regarding utility installations and project milestones.  Respond promptly to homeowner inquiries.  Maintain professional communication with clients and trade partners. Qualifications  2+ years of administrative, construction coordination, or office management experience.  Strong organizational and time-management skills.  Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Preferred  Experience in residential construction, homebuilding, utilities, or permitting.  Knowledge of local municipal approval processes.  Experience with construction management software.
