Job Title:
Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join a leading player in the pharmaceutical and healthcare construction sector. Based in downtown Indianapolis, this role involves supporting ongoing construction initiatives and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in construction management and a passion for delivering high-quality, compliant, and timely project outcomes. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations for various projects to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of bids with required quality. Provide positive support to estimating and production teams, coordinating projects for overall efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor customer satisfaction, seek new business opportunities, and develop these into sales. Prepare progress billings and job cost reports accurately and in a timely manner for administrative staff. Identify and document changes in scope or extra costs, working to collect due payments. Maintain awareness of legal liability, managing exposure professionally and ensuring proper documentation. Develop and implement procedures for seamless project transition to other team members. Assist in developing manpower requirements for ongoing projects. Encourage participation in company activities and educate employees on minority and female participation. Perform any other assigned duties. Essential Skills Ability to pass an extensive background check. Ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractors. 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager or experience with projects valued at $5-6+ million each, or a yearly budget of $20 million. Experience with heavily regulated construction projects in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharmaceutical industries. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with construction work for Eli Lilly & Company. Cost management and forecasting experience. Retrofit, renovation, and remodel experience. College degree in a construction-related field. Experience with MEP or project management software. OSHA 30 certification. Work Environment This role offers autonomy and flexibility, with work conducted onsite at the Lilly Technology Center. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with 8-hour workdays and no set start time. Employees are rewarded for meeting metrics with gift cards ranging from $25 to $150, and there is bonus potential based on company profitability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
