HSE Manager - Utility Scale Solar Construction Evansville, Indiana (Site-Based)

MWdc Solar Farm Duration:
12-18 Month Contract We are hiring an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety and environmental efforts on a large utility-scale solar project in the Evansville area. This is a site-based role supporting a 200 MWdc build across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all site safety and environmental programs
  • Develop and manage the Site-Specific Safety Plan (SSSP)
  • Conduct site audits and hazard assessments
  • Enforce critical safety procedures (LOTO, energized work, trenching)
  • Lead onboarding and safety orientation for all personnel
  • Manage OSHA logs, incident reporting, and investigations
  • Act as the primary contact for inspections and compliance audits
  • Oversee environmental compliance including SWPPP Requirements
  • 7+ years of construction safety experience
  • Utility-scale solar or large construction project experience
  • OSHA 30 required
  • OSHA 500, CHST, or CSP preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Ability to work on-site in Evansville, IN What You Can Expect
