Job Description

Construction Coordinator - Multiple U.S.
Locations Duration:
12 Months (with potential extension)
Schedule:
Up to 60 hours/week including weekends & shutdown support
Travel:
Up to 50% domestic travel About CrossSafety CrossSafety provides engineering and technical professionals to support large-scale automotive CrossSafety supports major industrial, construction, and manufacturing projects across the United States. Our team partners with leading organizations to ensure safe, efficient, and successful execution of large-scale construction and facility development programs. Our clients seeking support are often looking to fill positions quickly and in multiple locations across the United States. As such we intend on developing a pool of interested and eligible candidates who can be utilized when our clients make their requests. We are seeking Construction Coordinators to support manufacturing projects including retooling, shutdowns, expansion. About the Role This position provides on site leadership, contractor coordination, schedule management, and field oversight across large construction and facility upgrade projects. The Construction Coordinator acts as the key connection between field teams and project management to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is a hands-on, fast-paced job ideal for someone experienced in construction execution, field supervision, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise daily construction and contractor activities Serve as the primary link between field crews and project management teams Plan and manage weekend and shutdown work periods Track RFIs, estimates, purchase orders, and documentation Oversee project schedules, milestones, manpower, and material needs Monitor budgets and support cost-control processes Enforce site safety requirements and verify PPE compliance Participate in meetings, reporting, and field coordination activities Required Qualifications 5+ years of construction experience, 10+ years preferred Experience coordinating or supervising construction teams Strong understanding of building construction, field operations, and contractor workflows Experience with RFIs, budgeting, scheduling, estimates, and purchase order support Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and shutdown periods Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel domestically as needed (up to 50%) Must follow all PPE requirements of the site including steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, protective headwear and any additional PPE as required Preferred Qualifications Experience with industrial, commercial, or manufacturing construction projects Familiarity with contractor management and field installation sequencing Comfort using digital project documentation or construction software Why Join CrossSafety Grow your technical and leadership skills alongside an established and expanding professional consulting firm Join a team of over 150 supportive and safety-focused professionals including Industrial Hygienists, Ergonomists, Safety Engineers, Construction Safety Specialists, and industry-leading engineering teams Advance your career by working Fortune 500 companies and in dynamic environments where your leadership truly matters Contribute to high-impact industrial and construction projects across the United States Equal Opportunity Employer CrossSafety fosters an inclusive and respectful workplace.
