Full-time | Non - Exempt About JSET Automated Technologies JSET Automated Technologies is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS) projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world construction and controls projects. The APM supports Project Managers with coordination, documentation, tracking, and communication across field teams, vendors, and construction partners to ensure projects remain accurate, organized, and on schedule. What You'll Do Review project plans and specifications with the project team Track subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources against project milestones Maintain accurate project documentation in systems such as Procore Update project tracking tools, spreadsheets, and job costing logs Assist with material procurement and resource coordination Draft, submit, and track RFIs to support timely resolution Attend project meetings and document action items and follow-ups Support schedule, budget, and forecast tracking What You Bring Basic understanding of construction principles and terminology Familiarity with electrical, controls, or building systems preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, field-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Willingness to learn construction project management tools Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of construction, field support, or administrative experience Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local job sites Flexibility to work extended hours during peak project phases Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of project support or Assistant Project Manager experience Experience with Procore or similar construction management software Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field Work Environment Primarily field-based with limited office time Frequent collaboration with field crews and project teams Use of digital tools and technology throughout the workday Benefits Competitive salary with bonus tied to project results 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities in a growing field How to Apply Please submit your résumé that highlights your relevant construction experience and past project management responsibilities.
