You will serve as the primary on-site leader, orchestrating complex projects from initial ground break to final ribbon cut. What You Will Be Doing You will hold total on-site responsibility for subcontractor production, daily logistics, and building code compliance:Field Operations Command:
Direct all daily on-site construction phases, enforcing strict blueprint alignment and scheduling compliance among all subcontractors and internal crews.Logistical Synchronization:
Execute real-time tactical decisions regarding multi-trade staffing levels, heavy equipment staging, and structural material deliveries to sustain peak site productivity.Quality Assurance Validation:
Inspect and validate all physical installations, cross-referencing approved submittal packages against prime contract documents to eliminate costly field rework.Look-Ahead Micro-Scheduling:
Author detailed, highly accurate two-week look-ahead reports every week to anticipate logistical bottlenecks and communicate milestones clearly to the management team.Field Technical Resolution:
Defuse and resolve real-time on-site trade conflicts, design omissions, or field resource shortages to preserve the project budget and timeline.Rigorous Safety Management:
Oversee and manage the complete job site safety program, enforcing unyielding compliance with OSHA standards, EM 385-1-1 regulations, and local codes for all personnel.Workforce Mentorship:
Foster the professional and technical growth of field engineers and junior subcontractors on your site through continuous performance feedback and hands-on trade instruction. What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)Leadership Tenure:
5+ years of direct, documented experience leading active commercial, industrial, or public works jobsites as a Superintendent.Logistics Command:
Proven capability to handle high-volume site logistics, layout controls, and complex multi-trade operational scheduling.Safety & QC Compliance:
Deep working knowledge of commercial job site safety systems, risk mitigation strategies, and rigid structural quality control parameters.Plan Interpretation:
Advanced proficiency reading multi-discipline blueprints, structural profiles, civil grading maps, and architectural specifications.Education:
High school diploma or equivalent baseline.Preferred Technical Background:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related technical trade field. Documented background navigating the specific regulatory reporting and site security parameters of government/federal construction projects. Proficiency utilizing construction tech platforms, specifically Procore (or equivalent project management suites), Microsoft Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced proficiency with Bluebeam Revu for digital document tracking and real-time layout markup.
