Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Project Manager who will oversee the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. The role demands a professional with extensive project management experience in the construction industry, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Ensure all work is properly contracted or subcontracted. Obtain necessary building permits and comply with all government guidelines for each project. Adhere to OSHA and Environmental regulations. Oversee construction cost estimates, budgeting, execution, and final handover. Manage projects concurrently through all phases: concept, design, execution, and punch list. Collaborate with counterparts and tenants to ensure seamless project execution. Track project budgets and provide forecast reports to management. Manage site personnel and subcontractors, driving safety, quality, and productivity. Perform submittal processes, quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, and successful closeout. Ensure effective communication and service with contractors and tenants. Ensure project work meets industry standards of workmanship. Ensure all subcontractors operate under a proper subcontract agreement. Approve or reject invoices with appropriate communication with the project team. Project, record, and maintain all project costs on budget worksheets. Track change orders and project delays, ensuring proper documentation. Essential Skills Project management expertise. Proficiency in estimating software and construction management. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with expertise in commercial project estimating and management. Familiarity with the latest estimating and take-off software. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. Excellent communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with RFI (Request for Information) processes. Work Environment The role involves managing multiple construction projects and requires a proactive approach to safety, quality, and productivity in the field. A collaborative environment with various stakeholders, including contractors, tenants, and team members, is essential to ensure the seamless execution of projects. The work setting demands adherence to strict regulations and guidelines, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of workmanship and communication. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Leawood, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $150000.00/yr.- Industry leading compensation package commensurate with skill level and experience
