  • Gpac is working with a reputable drywall contractor who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendent to join their dynamic team. As a Commercial Drywall Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing drywall projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Responsibilities:
  • 1.
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee all phases of drywall projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. 2.
  • Quality Control:
  • Maintain high-quality standards for all drywall installations.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets industry regulations and company standards. 3.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, including drywall installers and subcontractors.
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. 4.
  • Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other team members.
  • Provide regular project updates and address any concerns promptly. 5.
  • Budget Management:
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. 6.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce and adhere to safety regulations on all job sites.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
  • Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Drywall Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of drywall installation techniques, materials, and finishes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient computer skills, including project management software.
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent.
  • Relevant certifications in construction management or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Experienced in metal framing, interiors/exteriors, insulation, carpentry (preferred)
