Assistant Project Manager

  • Full-time Scott & Ritter is the premier heavy civil/utility construction company in Southcentral KY specializing in underground utilities, sitework, grade work, and water/wastewater treatment facilities.
Our main office is located in Bowling Green, KY and our work area is in a 100-mile radius of Bowling Green. Scott & Ritter has been in business for 44 years. Fundamental Job Functions:
Assist civil project managers with their required duties Assist with project takeoffs and material ordering Assist with overseeing construction field operations Compile submittals Project scheduling and data entry Attend progress meetings, when necessary Keep ongoing contact with subcontractors and material suppliers Learn and follow established standards and protocol Achieve safety expectations by maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
Training and Experience:
B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred Civil/site/utility construction experience is preferred Refined written and verbal communication skills Must be detailed, task oriented, and possess a strong work ethic Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software Must be self-motivated, capable of working in a team environment, as well as independently
