About us Terry Adams Inc is a small business in Elizabethtown, KY. We are professional, agile and fast-paced.
Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Food provided We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join a growing team of PMs, responsible for delivering projects across the
US. A PM
will manage all aspects of project delivery, from inception through final close-out. Project types include but not limited to: major and minor office renovations, site improvements (hardscape and softscape), and tenant fit-ups. ## Duties
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and resolve any issues that may arise. Travel requirement approximate 30% of the time.
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders ## Qualifications
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and construction estimating
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent, with minimum 2 years construction experience or equivalent
  • Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively
  • Ability to manage construction processes in a high production environment
  • Ability to direct and manage trade performance
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Strong knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations and building codes
  • Strong knowledge of construction-related scheduling software
  • Knowledge of Excel, PPT, and Word
  • Ability to control cost overruns and manage a budget
  • Demonstrate commitment to customer service
  • Valid driver's license ## Responsibilities
  • Manage the activities of field superintendents in the completion of constrution projects and ensuring that construction schedules, safety, quality standards, and customer satisfaction are maintained throught the construction process
  • Ensure all projects are 100% complete before the established turnover date
  • Work with team to share feedback and improve planning activities
  • Assist in reviewing architectural designs and plans complying with local, state and national building codes, life safety codes, ADA regulations and zoning regulations
  • Manage customer relationships and partner with superintendent to address escalated client concerns during the construction process through close
  • Resolve issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities
  • Review payment for materials received and work completed
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure work is completed on time and within defined standards for quality
  • Assist in the development of overhead budgets and manage OH costs on a community level This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience and the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects.
