These initiatives are designed to support high-performance computing, advanced analytics, and real-world AI applications. Due to the nature of this project, additional details will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process. Position Overview The Superintendent serves as the primary on-site leader responsible for driving day-to-day construction execution across a large-scale, mission-critical data center project. Reporting to the Senior Project Executive, this individual will direct field operations, coordinate subcontractor activities, and maintain accountability across safety, schedule, quality, and production objectives. This is a hands-on field leadership role requiring strong site judgment, crew-level coordination, and the discipline to execute in a fast-moving, high-visibility build environment. Key Responsibilities Field Execution & Site Leadership Direct daily on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout Drive production targets and hold field teams accountable to schedule and quality standards Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site at all times Serve as the primary point of contact for all site-level activities and decisions Subcontractor Coordination Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractors and trade partners in the field Ensure adherence to contract scope, safety requirements, quality standards, and schedule commitments Identify and resolve field conflicts proactively to maintain project momentum Planning & Sequencing Execute construction sequencing, work packages, and look-ahead schedules in alignment with the overall project plan Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and manpower to support uninterrupted production Identify field-level risks early and escalate or resolve as appropriate Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate daily field reports, manpower logs, and site documentation Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager and senior leadership Support RFI and submittal processes in coordination with the project team Qualifications Required 10+ years of construction field experience, with at least 3-5 years in a Superintendent role Demonstrated experience on large-scale industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects Strong ability to manage and coordinate multiple subcontractors simultaneously Proven track record of safe project execution and quality field outcomes OSHA 30 certification required Preferred Experience on data center, mission-critical, or advanced technology facility construction Familiarity with advanced work packaging (AWP) or similar construction methodologies Background in hyperscale, campus-style, or multi-phase build environments Experience with modular or prefabricated construction components Location & Structure On-site role, Central Texas (specific location disclosed to qualified candidates) Contract engagement with potential for long-term conversion Competitive per diem and travel package available Why This Opportunity Lead field execution on one of the most high-profile AI infrastructure builds in the country High-impact, visible role with direct influence on project delivery Work alongside experienced construction and technology professionals Strong potential for extended engagement as the program scales About Augmentis Augmentis is a specialized talent solutions firm focused on delivering high-impact professionals across Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Operations.
