The IPS Employment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Supported Employment Program. This role ensures high-quality program outcomes through staff training, supervision, and direct support, while maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams and community partners. The position requires the ability to effectively work with the SMI (Severe Mental Illness) population while providing strong leadership and program oversight.Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and supervision of the IPS Supported Employment Program Ensure positive program outcomes through training, coaching, and side-by-side support of Employment Specialists Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting adherence to IPS model standards Work directly with individuals with SMI (Severe Mental Illness) to support successful employment outcomes Meet and engage with individuals receiving IPS services to ensure quality care and support Serve as a liaison between departments and community agencies to support coordination of services Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing development and feedback Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance program effectivenessQualifications:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferredExperience Requirements:
Experience in employment and/or education support services required Must have completed and passed Supported Employment Training Experience working with the SMI population preferredSkills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and supervisory skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health challenges Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate across teams and with community partners Commitment to supporting individuals in achieving employment successSimilar remote jobs
