Personnel Coordinator Reports To:

Houston (Energy Corridor),
La Porte, TX or Baton Rouge, LA Position Summary:
Personnel Coordinator assists in the searching, screening, recruitment, onboarding, and placement of potential skilled craft employees for multiple construction jobsites in the local and regional area. Receives, reviews, and evaluates candidate qualifications and secondary vetting of applicants. Key Responsibilities Screen candidates to ensure compliance with company, client, and craft-specific requirements (licenses, certifications, qualifications) Coordinate and track pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screens, and safety training Maintain organized schedules to meet high-volume staffing deadlines Handle high call volumes while maintaining professional communication with applicants, employees, and jobsite personnel Collaborate with recruiters and site teams to meet staffing goals and project needs Communicate daily with site supervision and recruiting teams regarding staffing status and updates Manage and update personnel data in Echart, including onboarding progress, dispatch status, and start dates Ensure all jobsite requirements, badging, and compliance steps are completed prior to arrival onsite Process staffing requisitions and coordinate candidate placement accordingly Apply problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills while ensuring compliance with company policies and hiring regulations Qualifications High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred 2-3 years of office experience in a fast-paced construction or industrial environment preferred Experience in Industrial and Construction related recruitment preferred Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Valid state issued drivers license Skills & Abilities Strong communication and organizational skills Must be able to communicate, at all levels, effectively using both verbal and written communication Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong knowledge with computer programs and software including: Toadfly Echart, Viewpoint Aptitude to comply with company policies, project hiring requirements and client requirements. Team-oriented with a customer/client focus Pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
