This role manages the installation and integration of architectural systems, building envelope components, and MEP trades for modular hospitality and workforce housing developments. Modules are fabricated at the Gulf Land Structures facility in Lafayette, Louisiana and shipped to project sites throughout the Carribbean for assembly and completion of remaining scope. The General Superintendent assumes responsibility for the project once structural module installation is underway onsite and coordinates all remaining scopes required to complete and commission the buildings. They will serve as the onsite point-of-contact for Gulf Land Structures and interface directly with the onsite general contractor for scheduling, site logistics, and coordination with other trades onsite as needed. Duties The General Superintendent will oversee all building completion activities including: Architectural Trades Drywall installation and finishing Interior and exterior painting Flooring systems including LVP and tile Finish carpentry and millwork Cabinet installation Furniture assembly and installation Building Envelope Exterior siding and façade systems Waterproofing and flashing integration Roofing systems and tie-ins Envelope sealing between modular units Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Coordination Coordinate building utility tie-ins with onsite general contractor Coordination of plumbing tie-ins between modules HVAC installation and system startup Electrical device installation and system verification Support of inspections and commissioning processes Coordination of mechanical and electrical subcontractors Project Completion Manage punch list completion across all trades Coordinate inspections and approvals Support final system commissioning Ensure buildings are fully operational prior to turnover Documentation Daily field reports Issue tracking and coordination RFI documentation Quality and installation verification Capture construction progress utilizing digital documentation system to track progress and record as-builts. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial or modular construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites. Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with coordinating multiple trades to increase efficiency and reduce schedule durations. Supervising experience leading diverse teams in fast-paced environments with excellent management skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

Minimum 10 years construction experience Minimum 3 years superintendent-level leadership Experience managing commercial or hospitality construction projects Strong knowledge of building envelope systems Experience coordinating MEP trades and system commissioning Experience with modular construction preferred but not required.
