Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee residential building projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring that construction activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering quality homes that exceed client expectations. As a key member of our team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage on-site operations, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. Duties Lead daily on-site construction activities, ensuring projects progress according to schedule and specifications Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain workflow and quality standards Develop detailed project schedules using BuildPro or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively Oversee safety protocols by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety meetings to promote a safe work environment Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation on-site Manage project budgets by tracking costs, reviewing contracts, and ensuring adherence to financial targets Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations Utilize BuildPro, and other construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and project documentation with clients and stakeholders Maintain clear communication channels between project teams, clients, architects, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution Qualifications Proven experience in construction site management with a focus on residential projects Supervising experience leading teams of tradespeople and subcontractors effectively Strong knowledge of construction management software such as BuildPro, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools Expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and budgeting processes Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety compliance Ability to interpret technical documents including contracts and project schedules Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong leadership qualities with effective management skills to motivate teams toward common goals Construction site experience demonstrating hands-on knowledge of building processes from foundation to finishing stages Join us as a Residential Construction Superintendent if you're ready to lead impactful projects that transform visions into reality!
