Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this vital role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensure safety compliance, manage subcontractors, and uphold quality standards. Your leadership will drive project success by maintaining schedules, controlling budgets, and fostering effective communication among all stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring work progresses according to plans and schedules. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide on-site activities. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools for project tracking and reporting. Monitor project budgets, perform cost control measures, and assist with construction estimating when needed. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards. Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and safety records. Manage project scheduling using Primavera P6 or equivalent software to keep projects on track. Ensure adherence to contracts by managing scope changes and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders. Use tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing when required on specific project tasks. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising construction sites. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar platforms. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety compliance. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control techniques. Supervising experience managing teams of tradespeople and subcontractors effectively. Familiarity with contracts management and change order processes within the construction industry. Ability to operate tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members. Pay:
$62,495.19 - $80,263.02 per year
