This position will fulfill the role of a working field superintendent , as opposed to an office project manager. The position would also consist of a great deal of travel.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT DUTIES INCLUDE

Having an owner's mentality and the ability to work successfully and comfortably representing RCI with clients and vendors. Moving projects forward as well as being able to get dirty when needed. Seeing possible issues in advance and making plans to address these issues before they arise. Scheduling multiple crews, arranging deliveries, and ensuring proper paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Having an eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have 3 - 5 years of experience in concrete and commercial pool building. CPO (Certified Pool Operator) and Shot Crete a plus. A Clear understanding of the following: reading plans, shooting elevations, calculation of grades, layout piping, and equipment room installation. Familiarity with chemical systems. Ability to work for hands-on and train crew. Ability to run construction equipment (Skid Steer, Mini Ex, Backhoe, High Reach Forklift, Vibratory Roller, Trencher, etc.) Complete Knowledge of plumbing hydraulics, basic structural support theories, and soil expansion/compaction characteristics Able and willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

Superintendent or equivalent education: 1 - 3 years

EDUCATION
