$140,000 - $180,000
Location:
HQ in Burlington, MA - projects throughout the Greater Boston area We are partnered with a leading construction firm to identify a qualified Project Superintendent to oversee field operations for a dormitory project on the Tufts University campus. This opportunity is well-suited for a professional who can independently manage jobsite activities while continuing to develop within a high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities Lead daily jobsite operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Drive execution of the project schedule through proactive planning, work sequencing, and milestone management
Partner with the Project Manager to execute the master schedule and develop detailed three-week look-ahead plans
Coordinate site logistics, subcontractors, and trade sequencing to maintain efficient workflow
Enforce safety protocols, including daily inspections, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and documentation
Oversee quality control through inspections, mockups, and adherence to best practices
Maintain accurate and up-to-date jobsite documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, reports, and photos
Lead subcontractor and foreman meetings; identify and resolve field issues in a timely manner
Serve as the primary on-site liaison with clients, design teams, and regulatory officials
Coordinate inspections and support project closeout, including punch list and turnover activities
Mentor and supervise field staff, fostering a productive, accountable, and team-oriented jobsite culture Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on large-scale projects (preferred project size: $20M+)
Strong background in Commercial or Multifamily residential construction required
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field personnel effectively
Comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, cost control, safety regulations, and quality management
Ability to read and interpret construction documents (plans and specifications)
Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License required
Current CPR/First Aid certification required
OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred within one year)
Proficiency with digital tools for reporting and communication (e.g., daily reports, photo documentation)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to navigate active construction sites, including climbing ladders and working on uneven terrain
Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
