Summer Area Manager Description:
Wicked Cool for Kids, New England's premier provider of STEAM programs for children since 2007, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Summer Area Manager. The Area Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the effective and efficient operation of a specific geographical territory. This position involves driving positive oues for staff, programs, and clients by:
Strategic Oversight:
Providing guidance and support to ensure programs surpass objectives and strictly ad topany policies and standards.
Team Leadership & Development:
Managing and mentoring staff, cultivating a strong culture of collaboration, professional growth, and accountability across the region.
Performance Management:
Monitoring program success, proactively identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
Communication Hub:
Acting as the central coordinator to facilitate clear, consistentmunication between site staff, senior management, and clients.
Customer Relationship Management:
Ensuring high customer satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns, resolving issues, and building strong, productive relationships with all customers (including parents, kids, and program clients).
Quality Assurance:
Conducting regular site visits and evaluations to uphold operational excellence and program quality. This role demands exceptional leadership,anizational acumen, and the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances to achieve successful results within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities Staff Support & Mentoring:
Serve as a Teacher Mentor, offering expert guidance and support to instructors within the designated region. Provide substitute or daily teaching coverage as necessary to maintain seamless program operations. Ensure all on-site personnel receiveprehensive training to deliver high-quality educational experiences.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications To be considered for this vital position, candidates must possess: 3+ years of teaching experience in a classroom environment. Proven and demonstrated leadership capabilities. Prior supervisory or management experience. Strongpetency in science concepts and effective public speaking skills. Exceptional cooperative skills andmunication ability. The aptitude to market programs effectively and emunity partnerships. High level of motivation,mitment, and dependable punctuality. A track record of success in managing multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities simultaneously. Proficiency in the Google Suite of products. The ability to travel regularly to regional program sites and bi-weekly to our Danvers, MA office.
