This Post Salary:

  • $100k Architectural millwork/casework company near Boston is seeking a Project Manager with experience in commercial architectural millwork.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan and monitor projects from submittal phase through final installation, ensuring that product is delivered and installed on time and within budget
  • Review architectural drawings and specifications to ensure all aspects match project scope
  • Purchase materials and put work orders into production, by job
  • Coordinate and manage multiple jobs in various stages of construction
  • Conduct job site visits in order to field measure, review details with customer and ensure overall job accuracy
  • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, set-ups
  • Negotiate with vendors
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Millwork industry, with emphasis on commercial
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
  • Attend site visits and oversee work across multiple phases of design
  • Attend client meetings with Principal
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors
  • Proficient with Word, MS Excel and Outlook
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • willing and able to track change orders, RFI's and other job-related paperwork
  • Superior organizational and time management skills
Preferred:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Autocad, such as creation and development of plans, elevations and millwork detailing
  • Estimating experience is a plus
