Landscape Construction Manager The Narrow Lane Company - 5.0 Needham, MA Job Details Full-time $80,000 - $100,000 a year 9 days ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Hardscape Teamwork Operational management Hoisting License Schedule management Driver's License Bachelor's degree Quality issues Construction team management Blueprint reading Managing teams in a construction management role Managing projects Construction management Landscaping Leadership Full Job Description Are you the person on a job site who already noticed the problem — before anyone else even looked? Do you hold your work to a standard that most people can't explain but you just know ? Do you find deep satisfaction in completing a phase of work correctly, checking it off, and moving to the next one with confidence? Do you take real ownership of your area — and quietly expect the people around you to do the same? If that sounds like you, this is your role. We are looking for a Landscape Construction Manager who brings precision, process ownership, and genuine accountability to every project they touch. You won't be running the company — you'll be running the job. And for the right person, that's exactly where they want to be. What this role looks like for you: You'll be managing landscape construction projects from ground prep through final walkthrough — coordinating crews, tracking progress against a clear scope, catching errors before they compound, and making sure the finished product reflects the standards we've built our reputation on. You'll work within defined processes and report to leadership that respects your expertise and gives you the space to execute. You'll thrive here if: You manage processes better than you manage people — and you're honest about that. You're introspective and private, but when something isn't right, you address it directly and don't move on until it's resolved. You base your decisions on what has worked, what the plan says, and what the facts support. You take pride in accuracy and detail. You prefer private, one-on-one recognition from your manager over public attention. You work well with others but do your best work when you can focus without constant interruption. Good to know about this role: This position will require some coordination with crew members and occasional client-facing communication. While this role is primarily execution-focused, there will be moments that call for flexibility and collaboration. This is well-suited for someone who can engage effectively with others while still being most at home in the technical and operational details of the work.
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in landscape construction, hardscape, or related field. Ability to read plans, manage a crew schedule, and hold quality standards on a job site. A track record of accuracy, follow-through, and ownership.
