The Rhino Shield team is looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented General Manager with a proven track record of scaling home service businesses. The General Manager is responsible for taking full ownership of day-to-day operations, freeing up leadership to focus exclusively on high-level growth and sales. Design and implement the systems, processes, and team structure needed to scale a fast-growing multi-product home services business into a highly efficient, industry-leading operation. The General Manager's goal is to make RhinoShield operate like a well-oiled machine — where every role is clearly defined, every dollar is tracked with intention, and the team is held to a high standard of accountability. The application code word is RHINO . The General Manager is a disciplined profit strategist and systems thinker. They protect the bottom line while systematically building the infrastructure required for top-line growth. This role will lead RhinoShield through a chapter of aggressive scaling, integrating two business lines — exterior painting and home improvement — into a unified, high-performance operation. This is a Full-Time, W-2 position. This is a critical position within the business, and as such, we host a rigorous, 4-part application process. RESPONSIBILITIES
(TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE
): Take all day-to-day firefighting, IT troubleshooting, and administrative burden off leadership's plate so they can focus on growth and sales leadership Independently recruit, hire, and onboard team members, building an effective hiring funnel and managing all HR functions without a dedicated HR department Define clear roles and responsibilities across the organization, eliminating the multi-hat chaos that comes with rapid growth Design and enforce a structured, data-driven sales and marketing process — including annual budget, cost-per-acquisition targets, required lead volumes, and close rate benchmarks reverse-engineered from revenue goals Enforce absolute data hygiene within the Salesforce CRM, ensuring leads are properly documented, followed up on, and moved through the pipeline consistently Manage and resolve the existing service backlog by deploying dedicated resources, while building sustainable warranty and service policies going forward Integrate and scale two business lines — RhinoShield exterior painting and Happy Home Improvements (windows and roofing) — into a cohesive operational structure Establish checks, balances, and performance accountability systems so leadership is not reliant on blind trust or micromanagement Manage digital marketing operations and CRM integrations, particularly Facebook lead generation and performance tracking Provide clear, regular reporting to ownership on financial performance, team productivity, and operational health REQUIREMENTS
(EXPECTED PROFICIENCIES
): Proven track record scaling home service businesses from the $5M•15M+ range — this is a non-negotiable; you've done this before and you know what it takes Deep familiarity with the operational complexity of residential home services — job costing, field team management, warranty structures, and customer experience Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM or comparable enterprise CRM systems, with the ability to enforce and redesign data hygiene and pipeline management Modern digital marketing literacy, specifically Facebook lead generation and cost-per-acquisition management — you understand how to reverse-engineer revenue goals into marketing math Proven HR and recruiting experience — you can independently build a hiring funnel, conduct interviews, onboard new hires, and manage contractor or W-2 staff without support Profit-first mindset — you manage to EBITDA, not just revenue, and you know the difference Elite systems thinker who can take chaotic multi-product operations and install clear, scalable processes and SOPs Strong accountability leader — you build a culture where people own their numbers, deadlines are met, and standards are upheld without you having to chase them High-accountability leadership style with the ability to function as the centralized operational authority Exceptional attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-moving environment without constant direction from ownership Data-driven decision maker who uses financial and operational metrics to inform every major choice BENEFITS
Base Salary:
$120,000•$150,000 commensurate with experience Performance Bonus:
