The Role They're looking for an Assistant Superintendent ready to step into meaningful field responsibility on large-scale public building projects across Greater Boston and the surrounding area. You'll work directly alongside an experienced Superintendent, taking ownership of day-to-day site coordination, subcontractor management, and schedule tracking — with the expectation that you're building toward running your own site. This isn't a clipboard-and-coffee role. You'll be trusted with real decisions and real accountability from day one. Responsibilities Supporting the Superintendent in daily field operations across all phases of construction Coordinating subcontracted trade work and managing on-site logistics Tracking schedule progress and flagging issues before they become problems Maintaining site safety standards and enforcing compliance across all trades Assisting with documentation, RFIs, and daily reports Acting as the senior site presence when the Superintendent is off-site What They're Looking For Field experience in vertical construction, with a genuine interest in growing into a Superintendent role Comfortable on busy multi-trade sites and confident directing subcontractors Strong communicator — with trades, with the office team, and with owners on site Based within reasonable distance of Greater Boston project locations Reliable, accountable, and looking for a place to build a career rather than just a next job Compensation & Benefits Base salary $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience Performance bonus Vehicle or car allowance Full health insurance coverage Competitive overall benefits package The Opportunity The company promotes from within and takes a long view on the people they hire.
