Our service area includes Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern VA. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage a diverse range of construction projects from inception to completion. Our sectors of work include restaurants, retail, hospitality, office, educational, medical, and base building. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations. This role demands effective communication, leadership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary:

Responsibilities Project Leadership:
Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Collaboration:
Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to define project scope and objectives.
Software Utilization:
Utilize Procore project management software for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.
Estimating and Budgeting:
When needed, help prepare detailed construction estimates to facilitate accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
Site Management:
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and address any issues that arise.
Time Management:
Implement effective time management strategies to ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities using Procore for efficient communication among stakeholders.
Client Relations:
Foster strong relationships with clients and team members to promote collaboration and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience Project Management:
Proven experience in project management within the commercial construction sector. 5+ years preferred.
Procore Software:
Experience with Procore construction software is preferred as we utilize Procore for all project documentation. Office 365
Applications:
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
Estimating:
Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and methodologies.
Time Management:
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings is essential.
Problem-Solving:
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
