Full Job Description Essential Functions:
1. Attend preconstruction and job walk meetings. 2. Ability to plan and direct the work activities of assigned projects up to $5m or greater. 3. Knowledge and ability to direct mechanical team members to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications 4. Coordination of mechanical team members, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules. 5. Knowledge and ability to support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all Plumbing and HVAC activities. 6. Knowledge and ability to review the architectural drawings and specifications for constructability and advise the project team of issues or deficiencies. 7. Knowledge and ability analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action. 8. Knowledge and ability to maintain positive relationships with the Owner, General Contractor, and Design Team. 9. Understand and communicate to all field personnel the company's goals. 10. Knowledge and ability to determine sequence and activity duration on schedules for projects. 11. Knowledge and ability to schedule labor for all assigned projects on a bi-weekly basis. 12. Coordinate and communicate to all team members the labor schedule for the project. 13. Communicate with all field team members daily. 14. Maintain constant communication with the General Contractor Job Superintendent regarding the progress of the job and the milestone schedule. 15. Knowledge and ability to understand the project estimate, budget, submittals, purchase orders, plans, and milestone schedule. 16. Review purchase orders generated by the Project Manager. 17. Understand trade contractor and supplier contract scopes. 18. Assist in quantity takeoff and pricing estimates. 19. Manage the completion of project punch-lists and close-outs. 20. Knowledge and ability to oversee all phasing and handling of job site materials. 21. Mentor and train other employees as necessary. 22. Keep electronic daily logs outlining weather conditions, project milestones, major delays, productivity details, and pertinent information. 23. Review employee timecards and ensure conformance with project budget. 24. Ensure company and job safety requirements are understood and implemented by all project personnel and subcontractors. 25. Facilitate and document daily safety meetings. 26. Knowledge and ability to prepare daily and weekly reports for each project with submission to the contracting officer. 27. Assist with project schedules including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, Project Analysis. 28. Watch for and correct all safety hazards on the job site. Report all safety incidents.
