Job Description

At CMI, we are hiring experienced Construction Superintendents with backgrounds in medical, wood frame, multi family and government work to help us keep growing. If you're dedicated and ambitious, CMI General Contractors is an excellent place to grow your career.
Superintendent Job Responsibilities:
Oversees daily operations at a construction site. Leads daily morning meetings with the entire crew. Follows construction drawings and approved plans. Uses ProCore to manage projects. Orders necessary equipment, tools, and materials. Helps to set and stick to the budget and schedule. Writes daily logs and other necessary documentation. Makes sure all local, state, and national business codes and regulations are followed. Ensures that the team adheres to all company policies and safety protocols. Works directly with the project manager, architect, and subcontractors in a positive manner.
Superintendent Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrates strong organization and problem-solving skills. Excels at motivating a team and has strong management skills. Experience with ProCore, required. Experience using Microsoft Office including word, excel and project. Experience working in Hospitals (Infection Control, Safety Protocols, etc.) Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and sitting for long periods, and lifting 50 pounds.
Education and Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate's or bachelor's degree is desired. OSHA 10 required and OSHA 30 desired. CPR/First Aid certified desired. At least 3-5 years of construction experience is required.
