Job Title:
Project Manager
  • Construction Position Summary The Project Manager
  • Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager coordinates with stakeholders, manages resources, mitigates risks, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Lead project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and construction personnel, to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor progress and performance using project management tools, reporting updates to stakeholders regularly.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with construction laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively resolve issues and conflicts that may arise.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Review contracts, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Track project costs, maintain financial records, and control expenditures to ensure budgetary adnce.
  • Coordinate project handover and ensure proper closeout documentation is completed. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager).
  • Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction.
  • Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects. Relevant Skills and Competencies
