• Full-time Fajen & Brown is seeking Site Superintendents to lead construction of some of the most technically complex new construction and renovation projects in the DC, Maryland and Virginia areas.

In our company, you'll be at the center of constructing or renovating a large, custom residential home, often from design development to punch-out. Our projects are generally complex, always highly detailed and very interesting to work on.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage day-to-day construction on our new constructions or renovations: Be our onsite supervisor for one of our large, custom residential projects, and later other projects as we complete construction Be the onsite expert for architectural plans. Identify changes to our design plans and make sure the team and trades only work on contractually approved changes Schedule subcontractors for daily work and ensure that F&B's quality standards are met Order and accept deliveries of materials on a daily basis Schedule and support local inspections Lead a team of carpenters to complete carpentry and detailing at the highest possible level: Be the on-site decision maker for solving constructibility challenges Work with architects and management to propose the best course of action for executing difficult design details Perform layout and construction tasks as needed within the role of a site superintendent Help plan our future work as needed: Support estimating and pre-construction on future work Help grow the company and make us a great place to work and a great partner to work with: Communicate with customers and architects to understand and deliver their project vision Help our team determine and implement the best design details Be eager to share your ideas to help our company grow and improve
